Axles

All our rebuilt axle units are first of all stripped and inspected for wear and fatigue then the axle casing is shot blasted and nylon coated on assembly. A newly reconditioned differential is fitted. All drive shafts are inspected for wear, new swivel housings and king pins on all front axles. All new wheel bearings and discs or drums and calliper’s included, please allow approx 6 – 8 weeks for refurbishments to be completed.

All axles are sold on an exchange basis and a surcharge applies which will be charge separately before dispatch. The amount of the surcharge is in the product description. On some occasions we may need to recondition your own axle due to the lack of core units.

The surcharge will be refunded once we have your old unit back and it has been deemed re-conditionable.

Our “take off” axles are from low mileage vehicles, epoxy coated and are an outright sale – non exchange unit

Shipping can be arranged on the axles and we can also arrange collection of your old unit if preferred, please ask for a price.

Payment on axles is strictly by bank transfer which we will ask for before dispatch.
